  We had high hopes for Panini's after Splash! shutdown and we were without a nearby restaurant for a while. Our first time there was just after Panini's opened and both the food and the service were mediocre.
  
  Tonight we thought we'd give it a second chance because maybe they were just suffering from opening night jitters. Unfortunately we were wrong. They upcharged us on our wings because we ordered all drums after telling us we wouldn't, then were going to make our waiter pay the upcharge fee. And to top it off, the wings came out 20 minutes after my wife's food and were overcooked.
  
  When I complained to the "manager" he acted like he could care less and made no effort whatsoever to make things right. Suffice it to say, we will not be giving Panini's a third chance. It's too bad because, as I said, we had really hoped it would be a great restaurant like Splash! was when it first opened.
